Position Summary: Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Coordinator to provide clinical support and coordination of mental health services within a secure facility. This role emphasizes non-medical mental health care including assessments treatment planning counseling and crisis intervention. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical expertise sound judgment and the ability to perform all responsibilities efficiently while maintaining high standards of care and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive mental health screenings and assessments including review of records and clinical interviews
Develop implement and update individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and functional assessments
Provide ongoing therapeutic services including counseling and behavioral interventions
Deliver crisis intervention and support for acute mental health concerns
Accurately document all evaluations treatment plans and clinical interactions in patient records
Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient information in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards
Apply established psychological theories and evidence-based practices in treatment delivery
Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes
Required Qualifications:
Education:
Masters degree in Social Work Psychology Mental Health Counseling or a related clinical field from an accredited institution
Certifications & Licensure:
Active and valid state licensure as one of the following:
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Minimum age of 18 years
Valid drivers license preferred
Experience & Skills:
Minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience including at least two (2) years in a similar role
Strong knowledge of mental health assessment diagnosis and treatment planning
Demonstrated ability to provide counseling and crisis intervention in a structured environment
Excellent documentation communication and organizational skills
High level of professionalism ethical standards and attention to confidentiality
