Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required
Bachelors Degree in technical discipline required 5 years experience OR Highschool diploma 10 years experience in program of similar scope type and complexity.
Description:
Perform system administration functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Stand up configure and maintain Linux servers.
Monitoring and patching/upgrades to standard networking resources (routers switches firewalls).
Monitoring and patching/upgrades to servers and VM hardware.
Assist and incorporate security compliance controls as applicable
.Support documentation of non-applicable controls.
Assist with installation of new or replacement hardware or software.
Configure and integrate hardware or software with existing networked infrastructure.
Assist with decommission and/or removal of obsolete excess or replaced hardware.
Document inventory changes.

Proficient with Linux. Minimum of 3 years Linux system administration experience (within the last 3 years).
Experience with patching and upgrading Linux servers and networking resources.
VM experience
Security cert
Desired:
Should have working knowledge able to use and or support with some (preferably most) of the following resources and tools.
Dell and HPE Linux servers
Juniper and Cisco routers switches and firewallsPalo Alto firewalls
Ansible
Nutanix VM management
Rubrik data storage
Nomad containers
SALT scripts
LibreNMS
NetBox
Salary varies based on Years of experience: $140000- $149000
A variety of factors can impact the final salary offered including but not limited to geographic location Federal Government contract labor categories and wage rates relevant work experience specialized skills and competencies education and certifications.
