Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in an acute care hospital setting. This role requires delivering high-quality radiographic services during night shifts while ensuring patient safety accuracy and compliance with healthcare standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures with precision and attention to patient safety
Ensure proper patient positioning and technique to obtain high-quality images
Operate radiology equipment in accordance with established protocols
Maintain accurate patient records and procedure documentation
Participate in EPIC system training and utilize it effectively in daily workflows
Adhere to radiation safety standards for patients and staff
Collaborate with physicians nurses and healthcare teams to support patient care
Provide coverage for alternating weekends and holidays as required
Required Qualifications
Completion of an approved Radiologic Technologist training program (including military training)
Current ARRT certification and registration as a Radiologic Technologist
Valid New York State Radiologic Technologist license
Minimum 1 year of experience in general radiography (acute care experience preferred)
BLS certification preferred
Required Skills
Proficiency in radiographic imaging techniques
Strong knowledge of radiation safety and patient care standards
Ability to work independently in a night shift environment
Familiarity with EPIC system (training will be provided)
