Ossid is seeking a highly motivated Associate Sales Representative to support the Ossid sales organization. This position serves as a developmental role within the Ossid sales organization and provides structured training field exposure and mentorship to prepare the employee for increased responsibility within the sales team.

Ossid based in Battleboro NC is a leading manufacturer of leak-proof tray sealing for case-ready proteins to flexible packaging for healthcare Ossid packaging solutions are ideal for fresh and processed meats convenience foods consumer goods and medical devices. Ossid manufactures industry-leading tray overwrappers and sealers weigh/price-labeling equipment case scales and horizontal thermoform fill seal machinery for companies of all sizes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with lead generation prospecting activities and early-stage qualification of customer inquiries.
  • Travel extensively with senior sales personnel to customer facilities demonstrations trade shows and industry events.
  • Develop foundational product knowledge across Ossids machinery portfolio including understanding of applications and customer requirements.
  • Support the preparation of quotes proposals technical materials and customer followâup documentation.
  • Maintain accurate CRM entries related to customer interactions opportunity progression and sales activity.
  • Participate in customer meetings plant visits and equipment walkthroughs to gain practical understanding of customer applications.
  • Support communication and coordination between sales engineering service marketing and operations.
  • Assist in gathering market intelligence competitive information and customer feedback to support sales initiatives.
  • Shadow senior sales representatives to learn effective sales techniques customer relationship management and territory development.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Engineering Marketing Communications or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently sometimes on short notice and for extended periods.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and CRM tools.
  • Selfâmotivated adaptable and eager to learn within a technical sales environment.
  • Ability to build constructive relationships and work effectively in a team-based environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Internship or prior experience in sales customer service or industrial/technical environments.
  • Familiarity with capital equipment manufacturing processes or packaging/automation industries.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Frequent travel to customer facilities including manufacturing and food-processing environments.
  • Ability to stand walk and move through industrial facilities as required.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. on occasion during equipment demonstrations or trade show support.
