Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) to provide high-quality cardiopulmonary care in a dynamic healthcare setting. The therapist will be responsible for delivering both critical and non-critical respiratory treatments while ensuring patient safety and adherence to clinical standards.
This role requires flexibility strong clinical expertise and the ability to adapt to varying patient care environments.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver respiratory care services using invasive and noninvasive techniques
Assess patients and monitor response to respiratory therapies
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic cardiopulmonary procedures
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams on patient care plans
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
Ensure adherence to safety infection control and clinical protocols
Float to other units or affiliated facilities as required
Provide compassionate patient-centered care
Required Education
Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
Required Certifications & Licensure
Active Ohio Respiratory Therapist license (required at submission)
Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) NBRC
Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
Strong knowledge of cardiopulmonary disease management
Experience in acute care or hospital settings preferred
Ability to work both day and night shifts
Strong critical thinking and communication skills
