JOB TITLE: Entry-Level Systems Assembly
LOCATION: North Charleston SC
PAY RATE: $22/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

• Perform simple assembly operations on aircraft systems equipment and components

• Install components such as tubing valves regulators actuators compressors and ducts

• Use hand tools and diagnostic equipment (screwdrivers ratchets power tools multimeters continuity testers)

• Follow detailed work instructions blueprints and specifications

• Utilize basic computer systems and Microsoft Office applications

• Maintain adherence to safety procedures and quality standards

Requirements:

• 1 year of experience following work instructions and interpreting blueprints/drawings (preferred; minimum 6 months acceptable)

• 6 months of experience in a manufacturing technical or mechanical environment (or equivalent military experience)

• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook etc.)

• Ability to use basic hand power and pneumatic tools

• Ability to read write and comprehend English instructions

• Must be able to work variable shifts (1st 2nd or 3rd) based on business needs

• Must successfully complete 6 10 weeks of training (3 failed assessments may result in release)

• Ability to obtain and maintain Confined Space and Fall Protection certifications (if required)

• Ability to pass all pre-employment screening requirements

• Ability to lift/carry 10 35 lbs

• Perform physical tasks including bending kneeling reaching overhead climbing crawling and standing for extended periods

• Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights

• Ability to safely handle hazardous materials using PPE

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
