Job Summary

Job Title: PeopleSoft 9.1 Developer
Location: Whippany NJ (Onsite local candidates only)
Duration: 6 Months

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft 9.1 Developer to support and enhance a legacy PeopleSoft application environment running on an Oracle database. This role is heavily hands-on and focused on custom development troubleshooting performance tuning and ongoing maintenance of a mission-critical PeopleSoft system. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a mature codebase and understands best practices for extending and stabilizing legacy PeopleSoft implementations.

Required Qualifications:

5 years of hands-on PeopleSoft development experience.
Strong experience with PeopleSoft 9.1.
Expert-level skills in PeopleCode Application Designer Application Engine SQR and SQL (Oracle).
Proven experience supporting highly customized PeopleSoft implementations.
Strong understanding of PeopleSoft batch architecture and Process Scheduler.

Preferred Skills:

Experience working in legacy or end-of-life PeopleSoft environments.
Familiarity with PeopleTools 8.5x.
Experience with Integration Broker file-based and database-driven interfaces and UNIX/Linux environments.
Exposure to PeopleSoft upgrade or migration planning (even if not executed).
Prior consulting or long-term support engagement experience.
Functional exposure to HCM (Core HR Payroll Benefits) or Financials (GL AP AR AM) helpful but not required.
