Compensation: $32.00 $45.00 per hour

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Engineer Technician (MET) CNC Programmer/Machinist to support precision component manufacturing. This is a senior-level hands-on role responsible for CNC programming machining process optimization and technical leadership on the shop floor. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in production machining environments and a strong background in CNC programming and advanced machining technologies.

• Develop program and optimize CNC machining processes for precision components
• Set up operate and troubleshoot CNC machines including multi-axis equipment
• Create and modify CNC programs using CAD/CAM software (e.g. PartMaker Mazatrol)
• Work with Mazak (Integrex/mills) and/or Star Swiss-type machines
• Interpret engineering drawings blueprints and GD&T requirements
• Perform tooling selection fixture design and process improvements
• Troubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actions
• Ensure product quality through in-process inspection using precision measuring tools
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve efficiency and reduce cycle times
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior machinists and operators
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and company procedures

• 8 years of production machining experience
• 5 years of CNC programming experience
• Strong hands-on CNC programming and machining expertise
• Experience with Mazak (Integrex/milling) and/or Star Swiss machines
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g. PartMaker Mastercam Mazatrol)
• Solid understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading
• Experience with precision measuring tools (micrometers calipers gauges)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Experience in high-precision or regulated industries (e.g. aerospace medical devices)
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices
• Previous leadership or mentoring experience
• Exposure to automation or advanced manufacturing technologies
