Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Swiss CNC Machinist to support the production of high-precision components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role involves operating and supporting CNC machines ensuring product quality and maintaining efficient production processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in CNC machining and a strong understanding of precision manufacturing standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor Swiss CNC machines to produce high-precision components
Set up and support CNC machines ensuring optimal performance and efficiency
Read and interpret engineering drawings blueprints and GD&T requirements
Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools (micrometers calipers gauges)
Maintain tight tolerances and ensure parts meet quality standards
Run multiple machines simultaneously while maintaining productivity and quality
Assist with minor program edits and offsets as required
Identify and troubleshoot machining or quality issues
Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
Qualifications
1 3 years of CNC machining experience in a production environment
Hands-on experience operating Mazak and/or Star Swiss machines
Basic understanding of CNC programming concepts
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
Experience with precision measuring instruments
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and manage multiple machines
Good communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with PartMaker Mazatrol or other CAD/CAM software
Background in precision medical device manufacturing or other regulated industries
Exposure to quality systems and documentation standards
Basic troubleshooting and process improvement skills
