What will you do
In this role you will use process sheets blueprints and measuring tools to inspect completed parts for acceptable tolerances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn and support manufacturing inspection processes across production operations
- Perform hands-on measurement using precision tools including:
- Assist in verifying product quality and compliance with specifications
- Support Calibration Laboratory activities including:
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with quality standards
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality system requirements
- Collaborate with quality technicians inspectors and engineers
- Schedule: 1st Shift Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 03:00 PM.(Summer Part-time)
Learning Objectives
- Gain understanding of manufacturing processes and quality systems
- Develop proficiency with precision measurement tools and techniques
- Learn principles of calibration traceability and inspection standards
- Build experience in quality documentation and database management
- Understand real-world applications of engineering concepts in manufacturing

Required:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
- Pursuing a degree in Engineering (Mechanical Industrial Manufacturing or related field preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel Word etc.)
Preferred:
- Interest in manufacturing quality or metrology
- Familiarity with measurement tools or engineering lab work
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Work Environment
- Non-climate controlled Manufacturing and shop floor environment
- Exposure to precision measurement equipment in a climate controlled calibration laboratory setting.
- Interaction with cross-functional teams including production and engineering.
