Special School District (SSD) employs maintenance summer interns to support the care and upkeep of district buildings and grounds. As an intern you will gain hands-on experience across a variety of maintenance areas while working alongside experienced staff contributing to projects that help keep facilities safe and functional for students and staff. This role offers the opportunity to build practical skills in multiple trades while learning in an active team-oriented environment.

Interns work from 6:30 AM to 3 PM Monday through Friday at either Tech High School:

• North Tech 1700 Derhake Rd. Florissant MO 63033
• South Tech 12721 West Watson Rd. Sunset Hills MO 63127

Education and Experience

• Training from North Tech or South Tech High Schools is preferred

Certificates Licenses Registrations

• Drivers License required
• OSHA certification preferred

Salary

• $15/hr

Calendar

• End of 2025/26 school year to beginning of 2026/27 school year
