Job Summary
A dealership porter (or lot attendant) maintains vehicle inventory cleans and preps vehicles and moves cars between service bays parking lots and the showroom. They ensure the lot is organized assist with customer service and support sales or service departments often acting as a key support role for daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management - parking moving and organizing vehicles on the lot to meet display standards
Vehicle Maintenance/Cleaning -washing vacuuming and prepping new/used vehicles for delivery; checking fluids tire pressure and battery levels
Customer Support - greet customers assist with vehicle retrieval in the service drive and sometimes shuttle customers or vehicles
Logistics & Maintenance - running dealership errands transporting parts and assisting with lot cleanup
Qualifications:
Drivers License - a valid drivers license is required with a clean driving record
Physical Stamina - ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions standing and walking for long periods
Requirements - must be at least 18 years old and able to pass a drug test and physical
Key Skills:
Attention to Detail - managing vehicle locations and ensuring cleanliness
Customer Service - professionalism when interacting with guests
Time Management - efficiently handling multiple requests from management and sales staff
