As a Security Officer Airport Access Control in Santa Ana CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic government location where you will monitor assigned areas conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help deter security-related this people-first role you will support access awareness provide outstanding customer service and communication and work as part of an agile reliable and innovative team that leads with integrity.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors passengers staff and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures access protocols and emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating relevant information to supervisors and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals public areas parking locations roadways and perimeter zones to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances restricted areas and pedestrian and/or vehicle traffic to help support authorized access follow post orders and report suspicious behavior or policy violations.
• Assist with security-related questions directions and general support while maintaining a professional presence and helping to address customer concerns in a courteous manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
