Job Summary
The exciting opportunity
- Full time permanent role
- Manage kitchen operations at our homely 61 bed Grafton aged care facility
- Prepare cook and present appetising and nutritious food
- Consult with Dietitians and Speech Pathologists to implement menus that align with residents needs and choices
- Manage costs effectively control stock and identify efficiencies to meet budget
- Encourage and address feedback to achieve continuous improvements

About you
- Proven track record as a Cook or Chef in residential aged care in Australia
- Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or higher)
- Excellent understanding of food safety and proven ability meeting governing legislation
- Superb communication interpersonal and customer service skills and views feedback as an opportunity to improve
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and Influenza vaccination (or willing to obtain)
