The Role
The Plant Human Resources Administrator provides direct support to manufacturing plant employees while serving as a key liaison with the Corporate HR team. This role is essential to recruitment onboarding compliance training employee relations and daily HR administration. The Plant HR Administrator ensures plant operations remain aligned with company policies federal and state regulations and corporate HR initiatives while fostering a positive supportive work environment.
Scheduled Work Hours: MondayFriday 6:00 a.m. 3:00 p.m. Required: Bilingual (English/Spanish) must read write and speak both languages
What Youll Do
Recruitment & Onboarding
Schedule and conduct interviews for plant positions
Facilitate onboarding through the HRIS system (currently BambooHR)
Complete all newhire processes including EVerify drug screening fingerprint setup and timekeeping entry
Conduct newhire safety and health orientations
Employee Support & Relations
Serve as the first point of contact for plant employees regarding HRrelated questions and concerns
Educate employees on company benefits and assist with enrollments or waivers
Maintain and monitor the attendance and point system; issue counseling and warnings as needed
Conduct exit interviews for resignations and terminations
Maintain daily communication with the HR Manager regarding employee complaints disputes and sensitive matters
Training Compliance & Reporting
Conduct base and level training sessions for plant staff
Grade training tests and upload results into employee profiles in BambooHR
Maintain accurate training compliance and personnel records
Compile and distribute daily staffing and plant reports with supporting documentation
Track employee time punches and attendance records
Culture & Administrative Support
Participate in plant meetings and events
Coordinate celebrations such as birthdays anniversaries and safety awards
Maintain HRrelated supplies inventory (water swag snacks etc.) and coordinate monthly needs with the HR Manager and Purchasing
Write and distribute memos letters correspondence and forms as needed
Perform other HRrelated duties as assigned
Who You Are
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in HR or business preferred
Verifiable experience in HR administration within a manufacturing environment
Skills & Competencies
Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (read write and speak)
Outgoing professional and approachable with strong communication skills
Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations while maintaining confidentiality
General knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices
Strong ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook) Adobe SharePoint and HRIS systems (BambooHR preferred)
