Head of Tech BCN

At Rocket Digital we are looking for a Head of Tech to join the Digital product Team.

The role

• Analysis and management of workload and resource planning according to the team status. Allocation of new projects based on project status and workload of the team.
• Search negotiation and relationship with partnerships mainly Shopify as main point of contact and Rocket representative in the ecosystem and events.
• 1to1 to monitor the team and its performance.
• Management and maintenance of the companys dashboards and control systems such as BoB (Book of Business) Forecast and Business Plan.
• Propose and implement Marketing initiatives and tasks on Shopify and the areas services together with Rockets Marketing Manager.
• Manage the Shopify certification program and others and its correct compliance by the team.
• Validation of commercial proposals project scopes and budgets per project as well as the improvement of these documents.
• Coordination of the documentation of methodologies processes and technologies.
• Coordination and monitoring of projects and client relations.
• Achievement and monitoring of the Business Plan and reporting to the Management Committee.
• Quality control in the different areas of the service.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in ecommerce environments (mainly Shopify Magento Prestashop or Salesforce).
• Fluent in conversational and written English.
• Extensive knowledge of Shopify is a plus.
• Knowledge of ecommerce/Retail technology stack (POS ERP PIM CRM...) is a plus.
• Certification or training in Project Management (PMP ITIL or similar) is a plus.
• Knowledge or training in Software Development or UX/UI will be an asset.
• Team management and leadership skills.
• Customer relationship skills and ability to represent the company at events or marketing content.
