Modelling & Investment Analysis Specialist

We are currently looking for a Modelling & Investment Analysis Specialist to join our Modelling Team playing a key role in advancing impactful renewable energy projects.

What will your day-to-day look like

• Work closely with the team to lead the evaluation structuring and execution of PV and BESS projects.
• Prepare and manage complex financial models for investment analysis and risk assessment.
• Develop accurate energy models of battery energy storage systems.
• Collaborate with engineering energy and operations teams to implement optimized energy solutions in the models.
• Collaborate with the Structured Finance and M&A teams to implement optimized solutions in the financial models.
• Prepare investment memos presentations and reports for senior management and external stakeholders communicating key findings recommendations and insights effectively.

Requirements:

• Bachelors or masters degree in Electrical or Industrial Engineering Energy Systems Applied Mathematics Physics or a related field.

• 5 years experience in modelling with focus in the economical and financial valuation of renewable energy projects in all the Development-to-Operation stages.

• Knowledge training or professional experience of power systems and renewable energy.

• Knowledge training or professional experience of project finance is a very valuable plus.

• Proficiency in Excel and Python.

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
