Role Description

Alantra Private Debt is the firms private debt platform providing flexible long-term financing solutions to European mid-market companies across corporate direct lending and real estate debt strategies.

Since inception the platform has raised over 1.0 billion and completed more than 60 transactions with teams based in Madrid and Milan.

The team is currently seeking an Analyst to support investment activities across its strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transaction execution: Analyse target companies and markets review due diligence materials build detailed financial models prepare investment committee memoranda and support legal documentation review.
  • Portfolio monitoring: Track portfolio performance and assess the financial position of portfolio companies including the preparation of periodic internal and investor reports.
  • Origination and fundraising support: Identify investment opportunities through interaction with companies sponsors and advisors. Contribute to fundraising initiatives including the preparation of marketing materials and investor reporting.

Requirements:

Candidate Profile

  • 24 years of experience in a debt or private equity fund a leading investment bank (M&A Leveraged Finance or DCM) and/or a Big Four firm (Transaction Services M&A debt advisory or restructuring).
  • International academic and/or professional experience.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish; a third European language (Italian French German or Portuguese) is highly valued.
  • Outstanding academic background and strong financial knowledge including accounting financial statement analysis and valuation.
  • Advanced financial modelling skills and strong proficiency in Excel.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to contribute ideas and work autonomously.
  • Previous experience in real estate is considered a plus.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage shifting priorities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with strong attention to detail.
