Job Summary
Essential Job Functions:
- Record daily accounting transactions including invoices payments and journal entries
- Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable including monitoring outstanding balances and performing reconciliations
- Perform bank reconciliations and review general ledger accounts
- Ensure compliance with tax obligations (e.g. VAT withholding taxes local reporting requirements)
- Maintain accurate and organized accounting documentation and support internal and external audits
- Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies in coordination with other department.
We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely accounting records supporting month-end close processes and maintaining compliance with applicable accounting and tax regulations.
Physical Requirements:
- Job may require extended sitting or standing use of standard office equipment.
Other Skills and Abilities:
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Fluent in English
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
- 25 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
