The Fortinet Systems Engineering team is a group of technically skilled and commercially astute professionals who are passionate about solving our customers challenges through the delivery of industry leading Cybersecurity solutions.

We are looking for an SSE (Specialist Systems Engineer) working in a dedicated overlay Team in Iberia mainly with our business developers sales representatives and field Systems Engineers. The OT SSE main mission will be to support the sales presales and channel organization in all Operational Technology technical matters regarding PoCs pre-sales sales calls.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Pre-sales - assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint of Operational Technology and Critical Infrastructure Security Solutions. This could also include the cyber security compliance laws regulations etc. that map to our Fortinet products.
• Sales calls - be the main technical resource on sales calls and answer/ educate the customer on issues ranging from features specifications and functionality to integration.
• Conversant with Operational Technology Information Technology L1 to L7 networking cyber security applications and solutions.
• Post-sales acting as trusted advisor for dedicated major accounts and maintain the technical relationship with the customer. Discover opportunities to upsell and cross-sell Fortinet solutions into the customer account
• Generate incremental OT revenue and growth through key partners and the broader channel.
• Establish productive professional relationships with key personnel decision makers and influencers in customers partners alliances and Fabric-Ready-Partners.
• Manage your time effectively when working on multiple deals simultaneously ensuring a positive customer experience is maintained.
• Maintain accurate activity contact and account technical information of all customers and prospects in our CRM.
• Input into the development of ICS oriented solutions and services.
• Identify and drive early engagement/alignment on large OT projects.
• Travel to the different locations of the accounts within Iberia
• Hands-on experience as well as technical operations of the Operational Technology/Industrial Control Systems/Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition environments (ICS & SCADA systems PLCs & RTUs HMI & Historian Smart sensors & actuators)
• Experience dealing with industrial clients within one or more sub-industries such as Power O&G Manufacturing transportation & logistics or Smart Buildings.
• Experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales and/or systems engineer
• Experience in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration
• Knowledge of the key Industrial Security Policies Standards and Guidelines (IEC 62443 NIST CSF CIS Top 20 ISO 27XXX NERC-CIP)
• Familiarity with the common industrial protocols (EthernetIP Modbus DNP3 & IEC 104 OPC )
• Strong understanding of DNS and NFS SMTP HTTP TCP/IP
• Knowledge of the following technologies: Routing Switching VPN LAN WAN Network Security Intrusion Detection and Anti Virus.
• Experience with encryption and authentication technologies required
• Experience in building business with customers and partners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to speak Spanish and English fluently.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Excellent planning organizational and coordination skills.
