About ALBA Sourdough Pizza

Located in the vibrant heart of Kreis 3 in Zurich ALBA Sourdough Pizza is built around craftsmanship fermentation and a deep respect for ingredients. Our concept is enriched by the presence of AULUS our 159-year-old sourdough starter which represents a living legacy and the foundation of our pizzas.

We work with a unique network of carefully selected producers to help build a more sustainable food system. By importing many ingredients directly from our producers and eliminating middlemen we ensure exceptional quality transparency and consistency in everything we serve.

In 2025 ALBA expanded with two new locations:

• Birmensdorferstrasse 431 focused on delivery take-away and workshops supporting our growing operations.
• Stampfenbachstrasse 68 open also for lunch where we offer a different product concept featuring New Yorkstyle pizza slices while maintaining our commitment to quality and fermentation.

Overview

We are looking for a Service Employee starting in May 2026 who will play a key role in ensuring a smooth welcoming and efficient service experience at ALBA. The role primarily focuses on supporting evening service operations and guest interactions while working closely with the team during busy hours.

This is an hourly position with approximately 35 evening shifts per week (around 34 hours per shift).

For candidates with an interest in hospitality the position also offers the opportunity to learn and grow within the restaurant environment. No extensive experience is required we are happy to support and train motivated individuals who are eager to learn.

Tasks

Your mission

• You embody ALBAs values: you adopt a warm smiling and professional attitude towards guests help your colleagues during service and display a problem solver attitude.
• You guarantee the well-being of guests during their time with us: you ensure a warm welcome and contribute to providing the best customer experience at every stage of the service.
• You are a guarantor for the quality of the service on site: you ensure an ALBA-style service and are responsible for the accuracy of the service.
• You are responsible for the speed of the service and the optimisation of the table rotation.
• You are a guarantor for the optimisation of the average order value: you master the knowledge of our products wines and cocktails and participate in the training of new team members.
• You engage in communication with the management team by effectively communicating needs ideas and concerns to continuously improve ALBA.

Requirements

What we are looking for (we hire on attitude first)

• Radiating smile.
• Great energy proactive attitude and team spirit.
• Boundless passion for hospitality pizza & italian-inspired cuisine.
• Previous experience is a plus but not a requirement.
• English intermediate Italian would be a plus.
• Willingness to learn take on new responsibilities and grow with Mimo-Hospitality & ALBA Sourdough Pizza.
