Private Investment Accountant (3 months temporary contract)
Executive Summary of Responsibilities
The Private Investment Accountant is responsible for the end-to-end bookkeeping of specific group companies (DAD/DNI/DSP/DIM) in strict accordance with legal and tax standards. You will lead the implementation and improvement of accounting processes manage financial closings for private equity and real estate portfolios and serve as a proactive business partner to internal clients and external auditors.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Accounting Operations: Execute daily accounting for the groups private investment companies specifically focusing on Private Equity and Real Estate.
Financial Reporting: Prepare comprehensive quarterly and yearly financial closings and consolidate annual group company accounts.
Compliance & Audits: Serve as the primary operational contact for external auditors and ensure all activities meet accounting and legal standards.
Tax Management: Handle the accurate preparation and filing of tax returns.
Process Optimization: Propose and lead the implementation of improvements to accounting processes and digital tools.
Ad-hoc Reporting: Generate specialized reports as required to support business decision-making.
Business Partnership: Act as a reliable finance partner for internal clients to support investment strategies.
Team Support: Provide flexible ad-hoc support to the broader accounting team as needed.
Requirements
Profile Required
Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related discipline.
Investment Expertise: Strong demonstrable experience in investment accounting specifically within Private Equity and Real Estate.
Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in ERP accounting software and MS Office tools particularly Excel.
Tech-Savvy Mindset: A strong interest in adopting new technologies and driving digitalization improvements.
Analytical Rigor: A methodical and structured approach with a high degree of precision and an analytical mind.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
Professional Character: A team-oriented flexible and positive personality with a service-oriented can-do attitude.
Discretion: An acute understanding that confidentiality is highly sensitive in this role.
