Job Summary
Position Description:
At CGI we are looking for a Test Consultant with strong automation skills to join our growing team. You will work closely with clients across industries helping them improve quality assurance practices and accelerate delivery through modern test automation and RPA solutions.
As a consultant you will combine hands-on technical expertise with advisory capabilities supporting clients in building scalable efficient and reliable testing solutions.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Design implement and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts
Develop and maintain automation using tools such as UiPath and other test automation frameworks
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Execute functional regression and integration testing
Analyze test results identify defects and support resolution
Advise clients on QA and automation best practices including RPA solutions
Contribute to continuous improvement within CGIs testing community
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Experience in software testing and test automation
Hands-on experience with UiPath (RPA) and at least one test automation tool (e.g. Selenium Cypress Playwright)
Programming skills in Java JavaScript Python or C#
Experience working with CI/CD tools (e.g. Azure DevOps Jenkins GitHub Actions)
Good understanding of Agile methodologies
Strong communication skills in English (Swedish is a plus)
Desired Competencies
Experience with API testing (e.g. Postman REST Assured)
Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure AWS or GCP)
ISTQB certification or equivalent
