Role Overview
Coupang is reimagining the shopping experience and our Programmatic Ad products are at the forefront of this transformation. We are looking for a strategic Hunter to spearhead our supply-side expansion in Taiwan. You will be responsible for the end-to-end acquisition of direct App & Web publishers integrating Coupangs sophisticated open API products(search api Reco API) into their platforms to create native high-converting commerce experiences.
What You Will Do
- Strategic Supply Acquisition & Territory Planning
- Identify and onboard high-intent mobile app developers and web publishers in the Taiwan market (Utility Fintech Lifestyle and Content apps Game).
- Transition partners from legacy display models to high-yield Direct API integrations.
- Negotiate complex commercial agreements focusing on long-term value and deep technical alignment.
- Technical Solution Consulting & Data Flow Management
- Act as a bridge between Coupangs product team and the partners Products/Engineering leads.
- Evangelize the technical superiority of Search & Recommendation APIs over traditional SDK-based display ads.
- Ensure a seamless exchange of data between the developers app and Coupangs ecommerce engine to deliver real-time high-converting product recommendations.
- Programmatic Ecosystem Strategy
- Leverage deep knowledge of Supply-Side Platforms (SSPs) and Programmatic ad ecosystem position Coupang as a primary monetization partner.
- Guide developers through the technical transition from waterfall models to sophisticated programmatic bidding environments.
Basic Qualifications
- The AdTech Pedigree: 8 years in Business Development with a heavy focus on Programmatic Advertising SSPs or Mobile Monetization.
- Beyond Banner Sales: You must demonstrate a deep understanding of publisher monetization and how complements API-driven e-commerce integrations.
- Data Flow Literacy: You are comfortable explaining how an API request is triggered how metadata is passed and how an e-commerce engine returns filtered results. You understand the plumbing of the mobile ad ecosystem not just the paint.
- Language: Native-level fluency in Mandarin; professional proficiency in English.
