Simulator Trainer and Coach

Immersive Technologies is currently inviting Expressions of Interest from experienced Simulator Trainers and Coaches who may be interested in future opportunities with our organisation.

Position Overview (Future Opportunities)

When opportunities arise the Simulator Trainer & Coach role will be responsible for delivering highquality training and coaching using advanced highfidelity simulation technologies. Reporting to the Managed Services Supervisor and working closely with the regional team you will play a key role in developing operator capability and performance.

Key responsibilities may include:

• Conducting training for new and experienced equipment operators
• Delivering handson coaching training and assessment sessions
• Utilising highfidelity simulation training tools
• Managing daytoday training schedules and training plans
• Supporting safe productive and equipmentcarefocused operating practices

Your success in this role will rely on your ability to effectively coach adult learners support skill retention and translate training into improved onsite performance and mining outcomes. Experience managing training programs and keeping projects on schedule will be highly regarded.

Experience and Capabilities

Potential candidates will ideally bring the following:

• 25 years experience in mining operational training
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles
• Proven experience in simulatorbased training (highly desirable)
• Experience operating surfacebased or underground mining equipment
• Strong understanding of mining best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A demonstrated commitment to safe work practices
• Multilingual capability preferred; English proficiency required
