Job Summary
Ready to take ownership of major mechanical installations on complex construction projects
Were looking for a Mechanical Resident Engineer who enjoys being on-site solving real engineering challenges and driving projects through installation commissioning and handover.

Job Description:
- Overseeing installation of HVAC wet services piping & fire protection systems
- Ensuring construction aligns with approved designs standards & specifications
- Managing contractors site progress & quality compliance
- Reviewing shop drawings technical submissions & RFIs
- Coordinating multidisciplinary teams across civil electrical & architectural disciplines
- Leading testing commissioning & final system handover
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 510 years experience on construction or engineering projects
- Strong knowledge of mechanical building services & SANS standards
- Proven site supervision and contractor management experience
- Excellent coordination problem-solving & leadership skills
Qualification:
- BTech / BEng in Mechanical Engineering
- ECSA registration advantageous
Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered
