Assistant Project Manager
Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Responsible for planning executing and delivering projects within scope budget and timeline while ensuring quality outcomes.
- Responsible for independently leading and delivering multiple projects concurrently with minimal supervision.
- Proactively manage resources resolve issues and engage stakeholders effectively to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Lead end-to-end project lifecycle from initiation to closure.
- Develop detailed project plans timelines resource allocation and cost estimates.
- Monitor and track project progress ensuring milestones and deliverables are met.
- Prepare tender specifications.
- Serve as main point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Facilitate meetings presentations and project updates with senior leaders.
- Manage expectations risks and issues proactively.
- Prepare project budgets and ensure cost efficiency.
- Track variances and implement corrective actions where needed
- Identify assess and mitigate project risks.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulatory and quality standards.
- Conduct post-project evaluations and implement improvements.
- Lead cross-functional project teams contractors and vendors.
- Provide guidance support and conflict resolution to drive performance.
- Foster a collaborative accountable and results-oriented cultur
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Business Project Management or related field.
- At least 5 years of project management experience (facilities management engineering or construction sector is an advantage).
- Experience working with government or commercial clients is a plus.
- Proficient in MS Project Excel and project reporting tools.
- Strong understanding of contract management and procurement processes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Leadership negotiation and stakeholder management.
- Has a good safety mindset and displays good WSH behaviour
