The group youll be a part of

The Customer Support Business Group focuses on enabling our customers with premier customersupport throughout their lifecycle with Lam. We drive performance productivity safety andquality of customers installed base performance and deliver service and lifecycle solutionsfor their most critical equipment and processes.

The impact youll make

Responsible for planning and monitoring the materials and products used by the Account team. Ensure that the region doesnt run out of the materials/parts needed to support our customers. Portfolio includes managing the flow of inventory and make sure products are properly shipped to customers. Partnering with the Account team you set up a business process for determining proper stocking and replenishment level and representing the region to the corporate to get the required stock.

What youll do

• Partner the Account team to understand the business requirements (demand forecast drivers) to determine proper stocking and replenishment level. Represent the region to the corporate team to get the required resources
• Work with external customers internal account team and field service personnel to determine replenishment systems/processes issue and receipt procedures required inventory control policies and procedures management information system to support material availability control and distribution to the Field
• Responsible for overseeing the inventory management process defining appropriate inventory levels eliminating obsolete and off-spec material and reduce aging material
• From historical usage develop and maintain plan for every part. Use the plan for every part data to update and maintain SAP for forecasting purposes.
• Develop and enforce business processes and work flows to enable efficient and effective operations
• Any other duties as assigned by the Immediate Supervisor

Who were looking for

• Bachelors degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
• 1-3 years relevant experience
• Possesses strong inter-personal and communications skills
• Experience in dealing with difficult work partners
• Commands good oral and written English

Preferred qualifications

• Knowledge of SAP system is an advantage

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. On-site Flex youll work 3 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. Virtual Flex youll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location and remotely the rest of the time.
