Instrumentation & Automation Engineer

AECOM is seeking an Instrumentation & Automation Engineer for full-time position based in our Singapore office.  The roles responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provide conceptual and detailed engineering design of process instrumentation control systems SCADA and Network design.
• Develop contract documents such as P&IDs PLC Control Panel design control and communication system diagrams loop & schematic wiring diagrams Process Control Narratives I/O lists instrument data sheets specifications hardware and software design and instrumentation standard details.
• Work closely with other discipline Engineers Designers and Project Managers as a key team player within an integrated multi-disciplinary project delivery team.
• Ensure accuracy completeness and quality of technical information and project documentation in accordance with AECOM QA/QC programs.
• Ensure that project needs are met in an effective and timely manner.
• Work with clients suppliers and contractors and assist in field work investigation and support start-up and commissioning activities for our clients resolve site queries attend site meetings and perform site inspections during the construction phase of projects.
• Be accountable to provide all activities in accordance with all applicable codes and standards including all of AECOMs policies and procedures such as Safety Environmental Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
• Manage organize and participate in multiple work assignments as required.

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (or Instrumentation & Controls).
• 6 years of experience in instrumentation & controls design in an industrial related field including field services/commissioning during construction phase of projects.
• Proven track record in development of contract documents.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with municipal Water and Wastewater treatment processes is an asset.
• Critical thinking to identify issues present solutions and follow through to ensure completion.
• Proven leadership qualities or experience to manage and lead work of small design teams.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
