Software Test Engineer

About the Company

Our Client is a global payments technology provider.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Software Test Engineer to ensure system reliability accuracy and compliance across transaction processing and customer lifecycle workflows.

• Execute functional integration and user acceptance testing across payment systems;
  
• Validate end-to-end workflows including onboarding transaction processing billing fraud controls and account management;
  
• Perform testing on transaction messaging flows and backend processing logic;
  
• Support certification and compliance testing with external networks and partners;
  
• Investigate defects coordinate resolution and communicate updates to stakeholders;
  
• Work closely with development business and QA teams to ensure alignment on testing scope and outcomes;
  
• Develop and execute test cases and maintain documentation using standard tools;
  
• Perform data validation and analysis using database queries;
  
• Support system integration testing using APIs and related tools;
  
• Contribute to reporting documentation and go-live readiness activities.
  

Requirements

• Experience in payment or transaction-based systems;
  
• Strong understanding of transaction lifecycles account structures and financial workflows;
  
• Familiarity with testing tools defect tracking systems and API testing;
  
• Working knowledge of SQL or similar for data validation;
  
• Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills;
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
