Job Summary

Job Purpose:

As a Data Engineer you will build and maintain robust data pipelines and systems to support analytics and reporting. You will work with SQL cloud platforms and BI tools to ensure data is clean accessible and performant. This role is critical to enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Job responsibilities:

Design and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.
Optimize database performance and query efficiency.
Ensure data reliability and accuracy across systems.
Collaborate with analysts and architects to support data needs.
Implement monitoring and alerting for data systems.
Document technical workflows and configurations.
Use Git and Azure DevOps for version control and collaboration.
Ensure compliance with data security and governance policies.

Job Specification:

Essential/Minimum

Education and Academics:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field

Master’s degree in computer science or related field

Work Experience:

3–5 years of experience in data engineering or SQL development

5 years of experience in data engineering or SQL development

Computer Skills:

Specific Certifications:

MS Azure Data Engineer Associate

Technical Knowledge / Technical Competencies:

• Proficiency in Azure SQL SQL Server and T-SQL
• Experience with performance tuning and query optimization
• Familiarity with Power BI and data visualization tools

Competencies & Behavioral Indicators:

Others:

Basic understanding of Arabic is preferred
