Job Summary

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Provide supervision leadership and guidance to the team reporting to him.
  2. Maintain smooth coordination with other Supervisors end-user focal points other supply organization personnel.
  3. Work with Deputy Warehouse Manager closely to update statistics on a daily basis and ensure smooth operation and unform policy & procedure implementation.
  4. Monitor performance and take adequate measures to improvement.
  5. Ensure Safety compliance and leadership to his team.
  6. Ensure the safe loading/off-loading handling and delivery of Hazardous Materials / Chemicals and ensure availability of MSDS (Materials Safety Data Sheet) while transporting.
  7. Ensure RLIC specific Hazardous Materials / Chemicals Transport requirements are met during inter-facility/warehouse transfers and off plot deliveries
  8. Ensure the safe and secure delivery of Chemical and Gases to destinations within Company designated locations.
  9. Co-ordinate with nominated Maintenance sections for regular PPM and Preservation services for logistic/lifting equipment.
  10. Ensure all mechanical handling and mobile equipment within the warehouse such as mobile forklifts Overhead crane trucks etc. are maintained and service records updated through monthly PPM. And ensure periodic third-party inspection is maintained.
  11. Timely delivery and return of equipment and/or parts needing repairs or refurbishment on behalf of Maintenance Department via Warehouse Operations as per P&Ps.
  12. Notification and coordination with Maintenance section for lifting equipment requirement.
  13. Assists with the co-ordination of regular PPM and Preservation services on equipment held at Warehouse with nominated Maintenance sections.

Profile Requirements

Bachelor’s in commerce / Business Administration / Higher national diploma (HND) or Diploma in Engineering from a recognized professional institution or an equivalent Educational Qualification approved by Head of Warehouse. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering will be an advantage.

Minimum 10 years of experience in a warehousing environment with a minimum of 5 Years in the oil and gas sector and with at least 3 years as Logistics supervisor.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP WM module.

Good written and oral communication skills in English.

Good leadership and interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team member.

Good experience in dealing with vendors suppliers and contractors in Oil and Gas sector.

Good adaptability to multinational environments with wide exposure to various cultures and customs.

IATA and IMDG Certificate
