Junior Mobile Android Software Developer (fmdiv.)
Job Summary
As a Junior Mobile Android Software Developer you will be part of a collaborative development team contributing to the Bosch Smart Home Android application while continuously learning and growing your technical skills.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of Android features in an Agile team environment
- Write clean maintainable code following best practices
- Support testing debugging and refactoring activities
- Assist in maintaining and improving the application including support activities
- Learn and grow through collaboration with experienced developers.
Qualifications :
Education:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering or a related field
Experience:
- 23 years of experience in Android development
- Initial experience working on mobile applications
Know-how:
- Proficiency in Kotlin and Java
- Experience with XML layouts and exposure to Jetpack Compose
- Understanding of asynchronous programming (Coroutines/Flows)
- Familiarity with MVVM/MVP patterns
- Basic knowledge of TDD principles
- Experience with Android Studio/IntelliJ Git Gradle JUnit Jenkins SonarQube
- Exposure to Koin (or similar) and Android Jetpack components
- Interest in AI tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot) is a plus
Languages:
- Fluent in English

Additional Information:
