The Commercial Lead is responsible for leading and expanding Elektas business in the Philippines. This roles primary responsibility following consultation with management is to drive business and act as the Elekta interface for the assigned addition develops implements and manages an assigned sales territory for the companys different product range; using the company sales processes and methodology to achieve a reasonable market share. The Commercial lead is expected to develop and manage key clients relationships and be active in the Philippines market to represent the company brands and engage with Medical Societies and Government agencies.
Responsibilities:
Sales Account Management & Business Planning
Achieves overall sales target.
Achieves unit sales for all Business Line of products.
Develops a pipeline of opportunities for customers and prospects to actively promote present demonstrate and upsell company products.
Regular sales forecasts review with the companys management.
Establish and grow relationship with all customers and prospects.
Conducts regular follow-up calls to all accounts to ensure customer satisfaction with Elektas product and solution upon system operational.
Develops and maintains close professional working relationships with finance field service technical services marketing project management and other support functions to drive order/revenue goals and customer satisfaction.
Distributor Management
Act as a formal channel to communicate with distributor on sales and service-related matters where local service sales specialist is not available.
Identify onboard and manage distributors across assigned territories
Conduct regular business reviews and performance evaluations
Marketing
Initiate organize and execute Elektas marketing activities in Philippines.
Plan for and work with the Marketing team to orchestrate online and physical marketing campaigns for identified products. Implement systems to measure marketing effectiveness. Ensure that activities between the marketing and sales teams are well coordinated and aligned.
Ensure that marketing leads are effectively converted to sales opportunities which are effectively converted to sales orders.
Gather competitor market intelligence.
Monitor and report any macro / microenvironment change feedback report and translate into the business impact to the company. Interpret and recommend any potential action to counteract and capture further opportunity.
Submits monthly reports detailing activities sales volumes and expenses. Alert head of sales / management of any potential upside/downside and/or any foreseeable change in the marketplace. Make recommendation in accordance with the outlook.
Commercial Excellence & Compliance
Conducts all business transactions in a manner that upholds the high ethical standards of the company.
Prepares and implements price quotations terms of sales delivery dates and service obligations in accordance with company policies
Uses only company forms or contracts unless approved in writing in advance by the company
Familiarize with the company & sales policy and procedures regarding the collection of payments processing customer orders and delivery of quotations and products to customers
Maintains an updated listing of all customers and prospects in CLM.
Others
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested by senior management.
Incorporates Elekta Values and quality systems into all department functions and responsibilities.
Investigates and expedites warranty claims and complaints in accordance with company policies.
Authorities:
Provide quotations and proposals in line with Companys Sales Policy
Carry out marketing / promotional event at the pre-agreed & approved budget for Philippines
Relevant Knowledge Skills & Competencies:
Bachelors Degree in Business Life Sciences Biomedical Engineering or related field (MBA preferred)
8 years of experience in sales and account management preferable in medical device or medical equipment industry
Experience in Radiation Therapy field or Large Capital Equipment Sales preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Pro-active customer-focused and hungry for success.
Able to work under pressure in a cross-functional environment
Able to work with distribution partner to deliver sales result.
Fluent in spoken and written in Bahasa Indonesian and English.
Ability to travel as much as 50% of time domestically and internationally
