Primary Details

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with business stakeholders and other functions to understand business needs and translate them into technical designs.
• Help Build automation solutions using Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technologies and other relevant programming languages.
• Assist in the Implementation and in maintaining process engineering and agile best practices across the delivery model.
• Identify and advocate for appropriate ways to implement end-user requirements to achieve business goals.
• Define reusable design patterns that are robust flexible and extensible.
• Engage in solution discussions together with the manager and/or peers and produce high-fidelity prototypes for feedback from senior stakeholders.
• Identify and size automation opportunities to ensure a positive ROI.
• Help drive financial and customer benefits through automated technologies.
• Develop automated opportunities to meet business demand and coding standards.
• Manage a team of developers shape the future of the Robotics Automation & AI journey and ensure deliverables meet business needs.

Work Experience:

Necessary Work Experience includes:

• Some relevant work experience.

Preferred Work Experience includes:

• Experience in Alteryx or Power Automate platform (at least 3 years of experience)
• Experience in Pega Robotics UiPath or any RPA tool (UiPath PEGA Automation Anywhere Blue Prism).
• Professional experience in programming languages such Python VBA SharePoint Development SQL and relational databases as well as application development.
• Involvement in multiple automation initiatives that delivered tangible benefits.
• Experience in the financial services industry preferably in insurance.
• Working experience in a consulting or shared services environment.
• Exposure to previous automation tools.
• Senior Engineer should have moderate experience including team management.

Qualifications:

Necessary Qualifications include:

• Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  

Preferred Qualifications include:

• Postgraduate degree in IT or Software Engineering.

Travel Frequency:

Occasional (approximately 5-10 trips annually)

US Only - Physical Demands:

General office jobs: Work is generally performed in an office environment in which there is not substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions. Must have the ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time. Must be able to operate basic office equipment including telephone headset and computer. Incumbent must be able to lift basic office equipment up to 20 lbs.
