Job Summary
As a Desktop Support Engineer you will:
- Provide technical support to end users by diagnosing and resolving hardware software and network issues
- Install configure and set up desktop systems laptops peripherals and business applications
- Troubleshoot technical problems both remotely and on-site ensuring minimal downtime
- Perform routine system maintenance including updates patches hardware upgrades and backups
- Maintain accurate documentation of incidents resolutions and system configurations
- Create and update knowledge base articles for common technical issues
- Deliver user training and guidance to improve system usage and productivity
- Collaborate with internal IT teams such as network engineers and system administrators for complex issue resolution
- Implement and manage security configurations to safeguard systems against threats
What You Bring to the Table:
- 46 years of overall IT experience in Desktop Support / Infrastructure Services
- Strong hands-on experience in desktop management and end-user support
- Good understanding of hardware operating systems and enterprise applications
- Experience with troubleshooting network connectivity and system issues
- Familiarity with IT service management and documentation practices
- Strong communication skills with a user-focused approach
