Accounts Receivable Associate

In this role a typical day will include:
- Managing and reconciling accounts receivable ensuring accuracy and timely processing of incoming payments.
- Monitoring outstanding balances and conducting corporate collections following up directly with customers when needed.
- Executing and documenting account conciliation processes to ensure data integrity and alignment with financial records.
- Coordinating and communicating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and support cross-functional objectives.
- Supporting financial audits by preparing documentation and assisting with inquiries related to accounts receivable.
- Operating within SAP to manage AR transactions and generate reports leveraging system functionalities efficiently.
- Continuously seeking improvements in AR processes while maintaining compliance with accounting principles and internal controls.
WHAT YOULL BRING TO ALCON:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable preferably with exposure to corporate collections and account reconciliation.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Hands-on experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Industry experience in pharmaceuticals or healthcare (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills in English (written/oral) and a proactive goal-oriented attitude.
- Soft skills: Self-managed results-driven collaborative and capable of handling multiple priorities with a problem-solving mindset.
