About the Role:
This role is a key position responsible for shaping and executing Everests Mexico strategy by establishing operational priorities that support business objectives while enhancing employee and customer experiences. The role partners closely across Mexico and the broader organization to create an efficient scalable operating environmentdriving process optimization automation and offshoring to ensure the right work is done by the right teams. It is accountable for setting and maintaining high service standards managing daytoday operations and ensuring quality resiliency and addition the role leads the development and institutionalization of standard operating procedures training materials and workflow documentation while fostering a culture of continuous improvement through strong leadership change management and crossfunctional collaboration.
Objective:
Actively participate in shaping the Mexico strategy as part of the leadership team with a strong focus on regulatory compliance underwriting operations and reporting obligations.
Serve as a key knowledge holder for Mexican insurance regulations ensuring operational practices align with regulatory requirements.
Improve employee experience through clear efficient and compliant operating processes and systems.
Improve efficiency across departments by driving process optimization automation and offshoring initiatives.
Ensure a high standard of customer and regulatory service through disciplined operational execution.
Create and institutionalize SOPs training materials and workflow documentation across insurance and underwriting processes.
Collaborate across Mexico and global teams to align Operations strategy with existing tools systems and enterprise capabilities.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Serve as the primary operational expert on Mexican insurance regulation ensuring compliance across underwriting and insurance operations. Own regulatory and compliancerelated activities including Article 142 KYC requirements regulatory reporting (#6 and #8) and reinsurance and statistical reporting.
Oversee and optimize insurance and underwriting processes including maintenance and effective use of core systems and ERP platforms driving efficiency automation and scalable operations.
Lead operational execution and continuous improvement initiatives aligned to Everests business strategy while managing one direct report and institutionalizing SOPs training and process documentation.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Minimum of 1015 years of progressive experience in Mexican commercial P&C insurance operations.
Strong expertise in Mexican insurance regulation including regulatory reporting underwritingrelated compliance and KYC requirements (Article 142).
Demonstrated experience with regulatory reporting including reinsurance and statistical reporting.
Deep understanding of insurance and underwriting processes.
Experience maintaining or partnering on core systems and ERP platforms including Visual Time.
Proven ability to lead process improvement and change management initiatives.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize highimpact work.
Collaborative teamoriented leader with the ability to influence across functions.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills including the ability to provide concise executive summaries.
Experience across underwriting finance claims or related insurance systems is a strong asset.
Bilingual (Spanish and English) required.
Infrequent travel including occasional overnight or extended trips.
