ROLE SUMMARY:

Working within the Inspired global network of premium schools the Middle School Teacher will deliver engaging and challenging lessons aligned with the schools curriculum monitor student progress and contribute to a collaborative and high-performing academic culture. The role also involves actively participating in the wider life of the school and supporting students wellbeing and personal growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the Lead Teacher in preparing the classroom and learning materials before lessons.
• Assist students during classroom activities ensuring understanding and participation.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to reinforce learning concepts.
• Supervise students during transitions breaks and non-classroom activities.
• Help maintain a safe clean and organised classroom environment.
• Support students social and emotional development through positive interactions.
• Assist with classroom management and behaviour reinforcement strategies.
• Help monitor and report student progress or concerns to the Lead Teacher.
• Support students with personal care needs where appropriate (especially in younger years).
• Participate in school routines events and collaborative team activities.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting (must-have).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills (must-have).
• Patience empathy and a nurturing approach (must-have).
• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with teachers (must-have).
• Good organisational and time-management skills (must-have).
• Basic understanding of child development and learning processes (nice-to-have).
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written) depending on school requirements (nice-to-have).
• Familiarity with classroom technology and basic digital tools (nice-to-have).
• Ability to support children with diverse learning needs (nice-to-have).
• First aid training or safeguarding knowledge (nice-to-have).
