Manager Accounts

The Manager Accounts is responsible for managing a complex group of accounts ensuring operational excellence customer satisfaction and achievement of financial targets (P&L). This role leads teams drives continuous improvement initiatives and builds strong relationships with clients and carriers. Additionally this position may support senior leadership in sales-related activities within Mexico.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer relationships ensuring alignment between expectations and deliverables.
  • Own accountability for P&L customer savings and satisfaction.
  • Identify and implement supply chain improvements.
  • Lead develop and supervise the assigned team.
  • Support implementation and launch of new accounts or projects.
  • Monitor performance through metrics and analytical tools.
  • Manage carrier/vendor relationships.
  • Deliver business reviews (MBR QBR) to clients.
  • Resolve complex operational issues across multiple locations or functions.
  • Support commercial and business development activities when required.

Education and Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Logistics Industrial Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of carrier contracts freight audit/payment processes and supply chain.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership and team development capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proactive results-driven and customer-oriented mindset.

Minimal Work Experience:

  • 5 years of experience in Account Management preferably in logistics/3PL.
  • 1 year of experience leading teams.
