Executive Officer (5 months Contract) ()

The Career and Alumni Engagement Section supports the career development of both undergraduate and postgraduate business students and drives alumni engagement at the School of Business. The Section is now inviting applications for the position of Executive Officer for a period of around 5 months.

Responsibilities:

• Support the planning and execution of career development programmes workshops and student engagement activities (occasional evening and weekend work is required);
• Provide logistical and on-site support for student activities such as briefings site visits networking events and student society collaborations;
• Help maintain and update online resources and platforms (e.g. Resources Portal CAES web / social channels) by posting event information learning resources and announcements;
• Prepare regular statistical reports and support the daily operations of the team; and
• Undertake other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• A bachelors degree preferably in Business Social Sciences Communications or related disciplines;
• Preferably 2 years of relevant experience in event coordination student services marketing / communications or administrative support (fresh graduates with strong potential will also be considered);
• Good organisation coordination and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail and the ability to work under tight timelines;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a student-centred and service-minded attitude;
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese); Putonghua is an advantage; and
• Good computer skills including MS Office; experience with social media web content updating and simple design tools (e.g. Canva) will be an advantage.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and/or an interview.

The appointment will be offered on a temporary fixed-term contract of around 5 months.

Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
