Engineering Supervisor

The Engineering Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily operations of the engineering department to ensure all hotel facilities equipment and systems are well-maintained and functioning efficiently. This role supports the Chief Engineer in maintaining safety reliability and operational excellence across the property.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily engineering operations including maintenance repair and preventive maintenance programs.
• Assign tasks and monitor the performance of engineering team members.
• Ensure all hotel equipment systems and facilities operate efficiently and safely.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms public areas and back-of-house facilities.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair situations.
• Assist in implementing preventive maintenance schedules and tracking system performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards regulations and hotel policies.
• Coordinate with other departments to support operational needs and minimize disruptions.
• Maintain proper records of maintenance activities repairs and equipment status.
• Assist in inventory control of engineering supplies tools and spare parts.
• Support energy-saving initiatives and sustainability programs.
• Act as the point of contact in the absence of the Chief Engineer when required.

Qualifications :

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of electrical mechanical HVAC plumbing and building systems.
• Good understanding of preventive maintenance and troubleshooting techniques.
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations.
• Basic computer skills and ability to handle maintenance reporting systems.
• Good command of English (spoken and written).
• Strong leadership problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations.
• Physically fit and willing to work shifts including weekends and public holidays.
