Job Summary
Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities Department of Culture and Communication
The Study Board of International and Cross-cultural studies is seeking a number of tutors to organize and participate in the activities for the new students in CCG (Culture Communication and Globalization) in the autumn of 2026.
Your job functions will be:
- Guiding and assisting new students to the programme during the first month of studies
- Welcoming students at the intro in September
- Organizing social activities
- Organising guided tours of the university campus and possibly downtown Aalborg
Your employment category will be that of student counsellor and appointment will commence on 1 August 2026 or as soon as possible after this date.
Remuneration will be for app. 24 hours depending on programme activities.
Your qualities:
- Applicants must have experience as students at CCG
- Organizational skills
- Communication skills
You are expected to be available immediately before and at the beginning of the academic year (until around the end of October).
You will also be expected to attend an online tutor meeting in August with the programme coordinator to plan tutor activities.
In addition it is recommended that you participate in the AAU tutor seminar on August 15 2026.
Students with comprehensive knowledge of the study programme will be preferred.
Applicants must be currently enrolled in the CCG programme.

Salary and terms of employment
Salary and employment terms are in accordance with the applicable Collective Agreement for Student Instructors at Universities etc. (Official title: Overenskomst for studenterundervisere ved universiteter mv.). Employment is conditional upon being a student.
There is a mutual probationary period of 3 months for the position.
