Job Summary

This position is an 8 month fixed-term contract.

The Deal Desk team are the strategic advisors to LinkedInsFieldSales team managing the Order to Cash (O2C)and facilitating the complex deal structures and requests that our clients demand. We drive scale within theSales organization allowingSales to focus on selling while we create efficiencies increase profitability and enforce stronger controls. 

Deal Desk Strategists will understand the ins and outs of our policies processes and systems. They will advise coach and trainSalesReps on a day-to-day basis to efficiently work within LinkedInSales process and will help drive LinkedIns growth and success by partnering with LinkedInSales teams and other cross-functional partners. You will have a clear and thorough understanding of the end-to-end LinkedIn ecosystem and be a strong leader and a prolific relationship builder. 

Responsibilities:  

  • You will enable the Deal Desk team to deliver thebest possible serviceto our internal and external customers - across multiple markets and/or verticals. 
  • You will ensureteam KPIs are being metand continuously findways to improvevia systems innovations process improvements or better use of our resources. 
  • You will partner the cross-functional leadership team indriving change understanding market & team dynamics and proactivelydesigning solutionsto solve our biggest problems. 
  • You will createpartnershipwithSalesand other cross-functional teams including; Legal Credit Revenue to deliver aneffective and efficient serviceto clients while maintaining a top-quality customer experience. 
  • You will train mentor and educate other members of the Deal Deskglobalteam to enable them to provide excellent support to theFieldand our customers. 
  • You will serve as apoint of escalationto theFieldand other cross-functional partners 
  • You will be an expert advisor to internal teams on systems tools and the creation & execution ofall deals particularly ofhighvalueandcomplex deals. 
  • Serves as asubject matter expert proactively sharing knowledge with global team and cross-functional teams. 
  • You will ensure our Global DealDeskteams receives communication and education on any upcoming system changes and drive adoption and collection. 
  • As a senior member of the team you will be arole model for change learning and development and continually act with agrowth mindset. 
  • Identifyregional nuance inprocessneeds familiarizing yourself with how and why another DealDeskregion works differently. 
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key cross-functional partners/back office teams familiarizing yourself with their processes and policies serving as aPOCfor DealDeskteam for questions or concerns minimizing need for escalation 
  • Ability to own pricing and proposal creation. Provide key strategic input for commercial negotiations. 
  • Join pricing and deal structuring calls. Demonstrate business acumen by providing solutions and proposals that satisfy the needs of our business 
  • Take ownership and program manage issue resolution across all back-office teams performing initial triage of issue identified bySalesand managing issue until it is fully resolved 
  • Potential to engage directly with clients through both written and verbal communications helping to resolve OTC issues directly 
  • Manage escalations of all OTC issues fromSalesand clientvia email or calls 
  • Demonstrate the ability to go above and beyond in the support of ourSalesteams and clients 

Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications: 

  • 4yearsof experience working in a strategy deal desk or operations role 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Comfortable withchange and an ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Bachelors degree 
  • Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic and collaborative environment 
  • Strong business acumen organizational time management skills and attention to detail 
  • A strong commitment to working in a team and being professional but youmustknow how to have fun too! 
  • Experienceleading initiatives or teams 
  • Proficient with Google and MicrosoftOffice products 
  • Experience withSalesforce and Oracle is a plus 
  • Ability to process a high volume of transactionswith accuracy and integrity
