Service Charge Accountant

Salary:38194 per annum

Permanent35 hours per week Monday Friday 9am to 5pm

About the role

As aService Charge Accountant youll ensure service charge costs are accurate transparent and fully compliant with regulations and occupancy agreements directly contributing to our financial strength and our customers trust.

Salary

The spot salary for this post is 38194 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. If youre still developing some of the skills or experience you can start at a salary 5% or 10% below the spot rate with clear support and progression opportunities to reach the full amount.

About you

The essentials

Strong understanding of service charge legislation
Advanced Excel skills
Provenmanagement accounting experience
Handson experience preparingauditable service charge accounts
Solid knowledge ofdifferent housing tenure types
A recognisedfinance qualification (or working towards one)

The desirables

Socials Houisng experience
Understanding of different scheme structures
Ability to read and interpret tenancy agreements/leases.

The successful applicant will be subject to preemployment checks such as DBS and social media screening before an offer is confirmed.
