Job Summary

We are looking for a SENCO to work within a highly regarded primary school based in Buckingham.

We are looking for a SENCO to lead the Special Educational Needs provision within a vibrant primary school based in Buckingham. This is a full-time position focused on overseeing EHCP applications managing a team of Teaching Assistants and ensuring that all pupils with additional needs reach their full potential. The successful SENCO will be joining a well-resourced and highly successful department with an approachable and supportive senior leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a school where every child is valued and student wellbeing is at the heart of the schools ethos. Experience and Qualifications

  • National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO) is essential

  • Be an enthusiastic empathetic and highly organized leader

  • Have excellent subject knowledge regarding the SEND Code of Practice

  • A formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e. PGCE)

  • Legal ability to work within the UK
