Job Summary

We are looking for a SENCO to work within a highly prestigious grammar school based in Leeds.

We are looking for a SENCO to lead the Special Educational Needs provision within a highly prestigious grammar school based in Leeds. This is a full-time position focused on overseeing the EHCP process coordinating support for high-achieving students with additional needs and managing a dedicated team of specialists. The successful SENCO will be joining a well-resourced and highly successful department with an approachable and supportive senior leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity to teach within one of the best schools in West Yorkshire where students are academically gifted and behaviour is exceptional. Experience and Qualifications

  • National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO) is essential

  • Be an enthusiastic inspiring leader with high academic standards

  • Have excellent subject knowledge regarding the SEND Code of Practice and Access Arrangements

  • A formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e. PGCE)

  • Legal ability to work within the UK
