Job Summary
We are working with a school who are recruiting for a meticulous Science Technician for an ASAP start in Canterbury. This is a flagship role within a high-performing Science department ensuring that practical lessons are delivered with total precision and safety.
The Role The successful applicant will join a flourishing team of specialists where staff are treated as valued peers. You will be responsible for the preparation of equipment and chemicals for Biology Chemistry and Physics lessons across all Key Stages. We are looking for a professional who can lead by example and contribute to the schools scholarly well-ordered atmosphere. You will work closely with the Head of Science to provide the technical support required for GCSE and A-Level practical assessments ensuring that very little learning time is lost. This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a technology-rich workspace and understands the importance of health and safety in an aspirational learning community. Previous experience in a UK secondary school laboratory is a strict requirement.

Hours: 8:30 AM 4:00 PM (Monday to Friday Term Time Only)
Start Date: ASAP Daily Rate: Paid based on experience (School Discretion)
Requirement: Must have Right to Work in the UK and previous school experience is a must.
