We are seeking an intellectually rigorous and enthusiastic Physics Teacher to join a premier Science department in Derby. Core Responsibilities

• Pedagogical Excellence: Planning and delivering high-impact evidence-based lessons across KS3 and KS4 (Combined & Triple Science) with a significant focus on A-Level Physics (AQA or OCR).

• Practical Mastery: Leading sophisticated laboratory workincluding radioactivity electromagnetism and wave interferenceensuring students master the Required Practicals and uncertainty analysis with precision.

• Theoretical Depth: Guiding students through the nuances of quantum phenomena Newtonian mechanics thermal physics and the fascinating world of fields and their applications.

• Curriculum Innovation: Integrating Derbys local engineering excellencefrom jet engine thermodynamics to rail technologyinto the schemes of work to demonstrate the real-world impact of the subject.

• Exam Mastery: Mentoring examination cohorts to excel in high-tariff evaluative questions focusing on the application of physical principles to unfamiliar contexts and the command of mathematical modelling.
