The Opportunity
We are recruiting an Office Administrator to support the daytoday running of a busy London office within a professional services environment. This role combines office and facilities administration with general support to feeearning and business services teams.
The position is parttime (0.6 FTE) with flexibility around working pattern although the role must be carried out onsite.
Role Overview
This is a broad handson administration role with responsibility for overseeing the office environment facilities and daytoday logistics alongside providing general administrative support to feeearning teams.
Youll suit this role if youre highly organised proactive and comfortable being the goto person in the office keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities
Office Administration & Facilities
Oversee office supplies equipment consumables and support services
Coordinate cleaning waste disposal confidential waste safety and maintenance services
Proactively supervise the premises and manage relationships with thirdparty contractors
Ensure compliance with health & safety fire safety PAT testing and related requirements
Support office moves layout changes refurbishments and furniture purchases
Manage incoming and outgoing post couriers and special deliveries
Take responsibility for office security and safety systems including access control intruder and fire alarms
Administrative Support
Provide general administrative support to Londonbased feeearning teams
Assist with tasks such as billing and new matter onboarding processes
Support IT HR and other business services teams with onsite administrative assistance
Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone who is:
Educated to Alevel or equivalent; graduate preferred
An administration or secretarial qualification would be advantageous
Experienced in an administrative role within a professional services environment (legal experience beneficial but not essential)
Confident using Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook
Experienced with document management systems (advantageous)
Highly organised with strong prioritisation and multitasking skills
Accurate detailfocused and willing to learn
